Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
Yes! We have been a licensed business since 2010. We are registered with Revenue Canada and have a business number, as well as a GST number. We are insured and bonded.
What kind of background checks and training do you do?
In one word? Thorough! We select and hire our employees slowly and carefully to select only the best applicants whose work history shows strong customer service and longevity. They must wow us with an eye for detail, and realize the importance of high quality standards. All criminal background checks are done and multiple reference checks.
I want ongoing service. How does it work?
We start with a deeper initial cleaning to get the included areas up to Take Pride standards of clean. After this is completed, you have the option to schedule a discounted Recurring Service on a regular day/time To get started, please submit a quote request via our website, or contact us by phone or email. Upon receiving your quote, please let us know which of the offered pricing options you prefer, and which days work to schedule your complimentary walk through.
Do I have to be home when the cleaner comes?
No! Most clients prefer to “stay out of the way,” so they can do more fun things before returning home to a sparkling clean house. It’s customary to provide us with a spare key or provide us with another form of entry. However if you prefer you’re more than welcome to be home and we’ll be happy to work around you.
How is my key kept secure?
Upon receiving your key, we mark it in a way that we know it belongs to your home, and which makes it identifiable only to those within our company. No name and no address are marked on the key itself. If someone outside of our company came across the key, they would have no way of knowing to whom it belonged. Should you wish to discontinue your service, your key is returned to you immediately at your request.
What about my pets?
When you sign up for service, we’ll ask about your pets, so we can be prepared for the escape-artist kitty or unfriendly dog.
What if I'm not completely happy with the cleaning?
Your happiness is our happiness, and we stand by our Quality Guarantee. If the job is not done to your satisfaction, just leave it as it is, and notify us within 24 hours. We will come back and make it perfect at no charge.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your visit to avoid a cancellation fee. Rescheduling will be determined by our availability.
How do I prepare for my cleaning?
It’s customary to pick things up off the floor and declutter counters and surfaces, within reason. This allows your cleaner to focus on the actual dirt and grime. Dishes are considered an extra service available for a small additional charge. If you have not requested this service, please clear your sink and counters of any dirty dishes to the best of your ability. Your cleaner will be happy to move a few dirty dishes out of the way to clean underneath. If picking up and doing dishes are part of why you’ve hired us, we’ll be happy to do those by request for an additional charge!
What do I do if I need extra work done?
Call our office at least one day in advance so that we can schedule any extra time that might be required.
Do I need to supply anything?
No, we provide everything we need to clean your home. We do this so that our employees are familiar with the products and tools they use. We use only professional grade products and equipment. Each home is supplied with a clean set of cloths and our equipment is sanitized between every cleaning.
